An ever-growing collection of short musical pieces amenable to film, television, or game use and available for licensing. The tracks were written and recorded by Pete Lutwyche, member of veloce, perfume tree and other bands. The tracks are primarily electronic and range from storming beats to ambient sketches. These are soundtracks with a twist though - all were designed to stand alone as musical pieces, and a strong melodic aesthetic runs through them. The instrumentation is eclectic - digital virtual instruments, classic analog synths, guitars, samples, voices, radio static, dimmer switch buzzes and all kinds of found sounds. The titles give an idea of the content and suggest uses. A CD is available containing 36 pieces. Titles are listed below, hyperlinks will lead you to selected songs. More songs can be found here.
